Kyker Bottom Wildlife Refuge

I spent the day at my favorite place, Kyker Bottoms Refuge. Kyker is a TWRA managed wildlife refuge here in Blount County, Tennessee. The refuge is small by refuge standards, about 550 acres. But I will visit 50-60 times a year, since it close to my home.

This Saturday was spent with the great folks from the Foothills Land Conservancy. I helped with a short walking tour of the refuge and then a cleanup around one of the observation platforms. See the link below for more information on the FLC
